順便關心下時事新聞: 英國財政大臣歐斯本(George Osborne)27日表示，他不會投入英國下任首相的競爭行列。

英國選民在23日的公民投票中選擇脫離歐洲聯盟，使得主張留在歐盟的英國首相卡麥隆(David Cameron)在24日宣布將於10月辭職。英國政府目前面臨填補這個空缺的壓力。

除了卡麥隆之外，歐斯本也是留歐陣營的大將。他27日在英國泰晤士報(Times)發表文章指出：「折衷不是我做事的特質，我竭盡一切投入這次公投。我堅信留歐主張，並努力捍衛。」

歐斯本說：「因此當我完全接受這種結果時，很清楚的，我不是那個可以提供黨現在所最需要的團結的人。」

由於英國在最近幾年是主要已開發國家中經濟表現最好的一個，因此在公民投票前，外界認為歐斯本有朝一日將會接替卡麥隆成為英國首相。

歐斯本說，英國公投決定脫歐將造成金融市場的波動。但他認為，英國這個全球第五大經濟體，有能力處理未來的挑戰。

泰晤士報報導，在下任首相之爭，歐斯本正考慮是否支持脫歐大將、前倫敦市長強生(Boris Johnson)，藉此交換外交大臣的職位。但報導中未提及消息來源。

根據民調公司輿觀(YouGov)在27日公布的調查，無論是在全體英國民眾或保守黨(Conservative party)黨員，內政部長梅伊(Theresa May)支持度領先強生。

英國媒體也報導，包括年金部長克瑞伯(Stephen Crabb)和衛生大臣韓特(Jeremy Hunt)都有意投入保守黨黨魁競爭，進而成為英國首相。
